Hello, I am searching for information on my ancestors, I have been unable to find anything pre 1834, I will give you the info that I have, Edward Darcy married Catherine Dunne on the 11th June 1834, in Edenderry Catholic church. Edward was a Bacon curer and had a shop and house in Main Street Edenderry. They had 8 children, the 4 boys all emigrated to Australia, one daugher Elizabeth stayed in Edenderry and married Patrick Moore who was a butcher in Edenderry.
Another daughter Catherine married William Tyrrell in Edenderry and later emigrated to Australia. Another daughter Mary Josephine emigrated to Australia, and the youngest daugher entered the convent in Tralee.
I am unable to find where Edward and came from and who their family was, also I dont know where they were buried.
When Elizabeth married Patrick Moore, the witnesses at their wedding were Patrick Dunne and Mary Anne Dunne. Aso I cant find where Elizabeth and Patrick are buried. Descendants of Elizabeth and Patrick are buried in the Rhodes Cemetery.
I hope you can help me, kind regards Meredith Darcy

Thank you so much Miriam, I forgot to say that Catherine's family also had a shop in Edenderry, I'm assuming maybe thats how they met, the Dunnes had a bakery in Main Street Edenderry, I haven't been able to find any information about Catherine Dunne. regards Meredith Darcy
