I continue to run into the brick wall which is my 2x great grandmother Mary Ann Linden. She was born around 1825 and emigrated to America during the Great Potato Famine. Her mother who may be named Bridget as Mary's first daughter was named Bridget, died when she was young and she was raised by an aunt it was said. Other members of her family left Ireland and came to Rochester New York (that has been a dead end also) She met her beloved in New York and married and moved to Rochester where she was rejected by her family there due to her being "too country" Linden ...not sure if it might have been a Gaelic name interpreted as Linden...just am not sure. Catholic. born around 1825 Anything else that I should do? Have done all the big DNA and ancestry sites and the irishgenealogy site.. no luck Her husband Thomas White was from Kerry so I wonder if she lived just over the Kerry line in Clare...Thank you for any advice   Mary Coleman
