According to Mahoonagh parish records Bridget McCarthy married Michael Scanlan Feb 21st 1854
The couple lived in Killeedy (Killeedy North) raising a family.
Michael Maria Helen Margaret Tim & Patrick.
We think family fell on hard times and forced to emigrate
but after 1863 the emigrated to NSW Australia..
I matched with
Patrick's grandson in Sydney
Any info about either Michael Scanlan or Bridget McC would be great.
Did whole family go?
we know Tim & Patrick did... we think parents did also..
any info would be great
