My grandmother Abby O'Connell of Valencia Ireland was one of 10 daughters of John O'Connell and Mary Driscoll. The daughters names were Katherine, Abby, MaryEllen, Julia, Margaret (Magge), Johana, Nora, Delia, Deborah and Ellie.
Half the girls moved to Connecticut at an early age settling around New London, Ct.
There is a cousin Mick O'Connell that my grandmother spoke of but we'fe never met.
My son Michael Wheeler of Coventy, Connecticut is planning a trip in late March to Valencia to explore our Irish heritage. They too have been searching records linking our family tree. His email is michael.wheeler@live.com
