I am trying to locate any possible relatives remaining in Ireland. Michael Quinn was born 1824 baptized 30 Oct 1824.
He married Catherine possibly in USA.
Catherine Ryan born July 1834 baptized Kilcommon, Tipperary. Parish Variant Hollyford. Catherine's parents were Thos Ryan and Ellen Small.
thank you for any help

Not sure how we can help you . . . but I had a search . . Roots (paid) and Ancestry . . .
I found . . on Ancestry ( see below ) . . the Wedding 1833 . . of Catherines parents . . in Borrisoleigh . .
Michael Quinn (below) Birth 1824 Loughmore . . . this I found on Roots . . where you can see his Parents . . .
in a Townsland called Strogue . . . ( map below ) . . .

Question is . . . can we bring those finds up to closer to today . . .is your request . .
Finding Ryans in Tipperary . . . is like looking for Murphy's in Ireland . . .very diffacult . .

A tax roll from 1847 .. Griffiths Valuation . . shows Quinns in North Tipperary . .

Jumping forward to the 1901 National Census . . .

This is the best I could do . . . hope some of the search is helpful . . .
Maybe that Strogue family of Quinns . . is what you are searching for . . .
Cheers . . . Eamonn.

Thank you so much for this information. Like many I am researching my family roots and would love to see if there are any distant relatives still there. I want to see Ballycuhill and the areas where my ancestors lived.
I have done DNA testing with 23 and Me so perhaps one of my relatives will do it and we will connect that way,
I appreciate you taking your time to give me some insight into part of their history.
