Looking for information on family of Michael O'Neill who came to Australia in 1863 .. Michael born Valentia Island about 1835 to parents John O'Neill & Julia ? either Brusby / Breswell /O'Connor .
found a Julia O'Neill of The Point , died 25th September 1871 & buried at Keelmore Cemetery Valentia.
Michael married in Queensland,Australia in 1863 to Mary Ann Kelly & they had about 12 children. My Gt Grandmother was one of the children.
siblings in Ireland included an Edward born 1841 died 1896 Reenard : Maria born abt 1845 & married Michael O'sullivan /Sullivan 1864 Cahirciveen: Daniel John born abt 1851 Reenard died USA :, William born 1854 Reenard died 1919 USA & Honoria Kate born 1849 Reenard married eugene O'Reardon 1870 Cahirciveen ,Timoty born 1847 Reenard married Johanna O'SSullivan 1895 Cahirciveen . Jon born 137 died 1897 Cahirciveen .
Julia O'Neill was licencee of the hotel at Renard Point & later a Timothy O'Neill of Renard Point & a William O'Neill Cahereciveen applied for hotel licences. her sons ?
Perhaps you could advise where I might make contact or find records relating to the descendants of the above family of John & Julia O'Neill either on Valentia Is.or Cahirciveen or elsewherre .

The Valentia RC baptismal records start in March 1825 https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0682 Those records are included in the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie under the Church record TAB. I searched for your O'Neills and I only found one record that may be a good lead.The record was an 1830 baptismal record for an Alice Nail. Her father was John and the mother was Gobinet Brackly which is somewhat close to your Brusby. Gobnet is a variant of Abigail or Deborah. You should scan the register for other possible baptismal records. I did not see a marriage record on the site.
