My ggg grandmother Margaret Nagle born approximately 1833 stated on her marriage certificate that she was from Ennistymon. Her parents were Thomas Nagle and Bridget Connors. Margaret came to South Australia in 1849 on the the ship Elgin she was 16 years old. She moved to Victoria Australia and married Peter Holland who was from Athenry in Galway. Siblings also came out to Australia...Richard Nagle who married Margaret Collins who was from County Clare. Bridget Nagle who married Austin Hanarahan also from County Clare. Hoping to find out more about Margaret's family and maybe make a connection with descendants of her family still living in Ennistymon

Thank you for your post. I'm copying a link to the Clare Library website for Ennistymon parish whose civil parish is Kilmanaheen. Unfortunately, the earliest copied register is 1870. There is an earlier one, but that has not been copied and its access is extremely restricted.
