Hi,

I am looking for any information about Mary Anne Lane born 24th December 1872 in Ballybrien to William Lane and Ellen Hourigan. She married John Fox after she  emergrated to Trumbull, Ohio, USA.

I would like to find details of her departure from Ireland and if she travelled alone or with John Fox.

A daughter Mary Bridget Fox was born just as they arrived back in Ireland in 1898. They had 10 children in total.

I am interested in Mary Anne Lane in particular and think she may have lived in Cork but am not sure.

    They lived in Darragh More townland in Darragh civil parish which is the parish just to the west of Ballylanders. Both parishes border Co. Cork.

    You won't find departure data from Ireland. Did she/they come into NYC 1892 or later. You can check www.ellisisland.org     Do you have a subscription to Ancestry.com ? They may have arrival data for other ports. Regarding coming back to Ireland, there may be information covered until Great Britian arrivals since Ireland was part of Great Britian in 1898.
