Please can anyone tell me the RC parish for Gaganstown.  I'm try to locate the baptismal record of the 8 children of Thomas Minch and Eliza McDonald/McDonnell between 1865-1879.

Thomas and Eliza were married 1864, Thomas is listed as a farmer in Kildangan while Eliza is from Gaganstown. They may have moved there or she may have gone back to family for all the births!

Either way the family is subsequently at Rosetown House where both Eliza and Thomas died 1891. They were very well off by now. So how/when did they move from Kildangan/Gaganstown to Rosetown House.

  • Fionn: If you go to www.irishgenealogy.ie (free site) and check the tab for Civil records. Look for Minch birth records in the Naas registration district. There are eight Minch records from 1864-1880.
