She was baptized on March 16, 1817, in Ballymoney parish, the daughter of John Wright: http://www.paulturner.ca/Ireland/Cork/Ballymoney%20Parish/bp-text-2.htm The Irish Reproductive Loans database shows that John Collins of Ballineen borrowed £01-00-00 from William Good of Ballineen on December 28 and December 29, 1846. A follow-up shows that he was a labourer and was residing in Ballineen in 1846 but by 1849, but by 1849 he had "gone to America", in this case, Canada. http://www.loanfunds.skibbheritage.com/Home.aspx I believe that he emigrated to Hastings County, Ontario in 1849, where his older brother, William Daniel Collins, was already living. John Dent Collins died in Hastings County, Ontario on December 1, 1867.
