John Charles Edward Chambers is my great grandfather and he was born 16 July 1868 in the parish of Rathcoole, Dublin. He married my great grandmother, Elizabeth Jane Watson 10 July 1889 in Dublin. They had 2 children while still living in Ireland and in the early 1890's they immigrated to Brooklyn, NY and had 3 more children (1 of whom was my grandfather) before moving to Rutherford, New Jersey. He became an importer of Irish linens and handkerchiefs until his premature death in 1918.
