What a great building! I was researching the history of architecture of universities and colleges with http://essaypapers.reviews/ and other services. So, I am here for a great archive! Thanks!
The College was founded in 1782 by James Keefe, then Roman Catholic Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin but it over almost 10 years before it was opened for the admission of students. From the outset, the College catered for those with an interest in studying the Humanities and focused its attention on both lay and religious attendees.
The College motto is Rescissa Vegetior Assurgit, 'Pruned it blossoms all the more'. Today, both undergraduate and postgraduate students are admitted, studying a variety of subjects from social studies, child care, history and English.
