Patrick Nash, and his siblings Samuel, John, Joseph, Mary and Ann were born in the Bandon area of County Cork. Patrick married Margaret Dwyer in 1836--marriage record shows her as Johanna. They had Catherine in 1836 and Patrick in 1838. I haven't found any other children in the records. They left Ireland about 1845, and had additional children once they arrived in the US--upstate NY. By 1855 all Patrick's siblings listed above were in New York. Samuel married Bridget Canty, Mary married Jeremiah Mahoney/Mahanna, Ann married John Hooley and John married Ellen (possibly Collins) before they left Ireland. I have found marriage and baptism records for their children in the parishs of Enniskeane and Desertserges and Dunmanway. Records for Patrick's marriage and birth of children say he was "of Grillagh." There may have been another sibling named Robert who came to the US 1841.
