George was born in County Antrim, Ireland on 16 Dec 1758. He immigrated to America in 1775 with his brothers, James and John, and settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. James eventually moved to Virginia, USA and John to Ohio, USA. George never heard from them once they moved. George naturalized in the USA on Aug 15, 1808 (have naturalization papers). He married a Anne Gault from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Her family is from Scotland.
