I am searching for info on my 4 x great grandparents John Scannell and his wife Joanna / Johanna Maria Moffat.
They left Ireland as part of the 1820 settlers group with the Sunnot Party. They arrived in Port Elizabeth, South Africa aboard the boat "Fanny".
Both were listed as being born between 1798 and 1799. And John was listed as a blacksmith.
I am hoping someone has either of them in their family tree :)
