The genealogy of my GGF Michael Byrne/Burns says that there were McDonalds and O'Neils were amongst his "relatives" (in-laws?) though I haven't found them. He was born to Michael Byrne who operated as a blacksmith at Pounds Cross, Tankardstown Townland, Laoighis, Diocese of "Laughlan" (Leighlin?), and was born to James Byrne. Michael, Jr's baptismal records were at St. Michael's Church in Athy. His mother was a Fitzpatrick and her mother was a Delaney.
