Margaret O'Brien, Behenagh, was born in January 1872. In 1892 she emigrated to Townsville, Queensland with her sister Catherine (Kate). Their uncle Patrick O'Brien was already there. Margaret lived and nursed in Townsville until 1906.when she moved to Sydney. She was the proprietoress of Pomeroy Guesthouse for many years until it was sold in 1936.
In 1924 she brought her nieces, Joan and Catherine (Kitty) Mullins to Sydney to live there.
She died in Katoomba, New South Wales in October 1965.
