Born 29th April 1877 in Castlecomer to Jeremiah Curran and Mary Purcell Had 10 siblings including one set of twin brothers. Married Thomas Sloan in Glasgow. They had twin boys - Robert Jeremiah Sloan and James Walker Sloan (both died before they were a year old) and 3 other boys - Thomas Todd Curran Sloan, Robert James Curran Sloan and John Gray Sloan. Appears on the 1901 Glasgow census. Left Glasgow in 1907 with Thomas and the 3 boys. Source: Poor Relief Records - Mitchell Library, Glasgow. Dues in Holles Street Hospital, Dublin in 1909 in tragic circumstances.
