House near Slatta National School

County Roscommon

I will be visiting Ireland in September of 2018.  I am interested in locating my father's (George Daly) childhood home in a rural area of Roscommon.  He attended the Slatta National School in the

1930s.  The townlands served by the Slatta National School are Slatta, Slattamore, Dooslatta, Slattabeg, Moher, Knockhall, Ballymoylin, Cullaghamoore, Caul and Cloonshanagh.

Any help in locating a more exact location of this homoe (long abandoned but still standing) would be appreciated.         Barbara Daly Thompson
