My Grandfather Patrick Ryan, born in Edenderry, Kings Co, Ireland on 12th March 1875
Father, Michael Ryan ,Mother Margaret Keogh.
Patrick's mother gave birth to a daughter Esther, as a cosequence of a difficult birth Margaret died on the 16th March 1878.
Esther then died on the 17th March.
Michael Ryan husband, then also died on the 22nd March.
I dont have any information on Patrick between 1878 and 1901 whereby I found him living in Dubln on the census, with a family by the name of Kelly. He married Margaret Connell in Dublin on the 30th Sept 1902. They lived in no 9 Emerald Cottages Grand Canal Street, Dublin . I would like to find out where he lived and with who between 1878 & 1901. He may have been in the care of a relation somewhere in the local area of Edenderry or even in Dublin where he remained until his death in 1953. He suffered an injury on a road and refused to allow an amputation of his leg.
