My Great Great Grandfather was Miles McGrath. He emigrated to America in 1855 when he was eleven years old. He may be known by the Gaelic spelling which I think is Mieles. He married a Margaret Granahan and then had a son Thomas McGrath wh was born in 1883. I was told that our family came from County Sligo. I have been unable to find any information on Miles or his parents.
