John was born 1 january 1855 in Kilmer, County Clare, son of Walter & Bridget (nee Blake) Quealy. He had a brother Martin. He migrated to Australia & married Mary (nee Deveraux)in 1887 & after she passed away married Caroline (nee Kerrison) in 1910. John & Mary had 6 children Milly, Edward (Ted), Martin, Walter Deveraux, Cecilia, & John Blake (same name). John died 20 January 1925 in Ashfield NSW Australia

Following on, Walter Devereux Quealy had a daughter Mary & son Walter Patrick Quealy,who was my father. My full name is Walter Mark Quealy & I live in Sydney Australia. I note that a Martin Quealy is listed in the Clare phone directory. Maybe he is related to my Great Granfather John Blake Quealy who had a brother also called Martin?
