This house is probably the oldest house in the village. After Cloughjordan House which is attached to the O'Carroll Keep this property is the earliest domestic house, it was associated with the Medieval Mill which is to the rear of the property, this mill later was used as a distillary and in the ownership of Edward Kennedy.. The house is unchanged and still holds its original character both inside and out.
