A daughter of my grandmother's brother Hugh O'Keefe and his wife Margaret Murphy was Ann O'Keefe who was baptised 14 Dec 1874 RC Church Kilmihil, Sponsor Anne Lernihan.
She married James Considine in the RC Church at Kilmihil on 21 August 1901.kilm
James Considine's age was 45, a widower, occupation farmer, address Furroor, father's name Matthew Considine (dead). Anne O'Keefe's age was 30, daughter of Hugh O'Keefe, a farmer of Sorrel Island. Witnesses to the marriage were Michael Considine and Bridget Considine. Both signed the register.
The 1911 Census states that they were residing at Furroor, Lisacasey, Clare. James Considine, age 64, Farmer, Head, can read and write, Roman Catholic. Annie Considine age 40, Wife, can read and write, Roman Catholic, married 10 years 1 child 1 child living. John Considine age 30, son, can read and write, Roman Catholic. Patrick Considine age 20, son, can read and write, Roman Catholic. Thomas Considine age 9 can read and write, Roman Catholic. All were born in Clare. James, Annie and John could speak both Irish and English.
