I've never been here but I want to! However, I happened to get some parcels from Dublin. There were with souvenirs related to Bernard Shaw. And with postcode finder I was able to determine my postal code and order what I want without problems.
This redbrick terraced house at first glance is not partiularly special. In fact it's quite typical of the sort of houses that you will see when wandering around the area of Portobello. However, upon closer inspection, a smal plaque on the wall reveals this to be the birthplace of famed playwright, George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950). The house was opened as a museum to the writer in 1993, but was then closed in 2012.
