Looking for any information on the family of my GGG grandfather James Keon (~1779-~1836) and his wife Elizabeth Morris (1780-~1851), both of county Fermanagh, and their 8 children: Catherine (McHugh) (1798-1851), Sarah (1803-?), James (1808-1865), John (1809-1861), Andrew (1810-1898), Suzanna (Elliott) (1812-1884), Isabella (Moore) (1814-1880), and Mary (Reynolds) (1819-1900).
Possible places of origin: Derryvullan or Enniskillen civil parishes, Fermanagh county.
Other than Catherine (who left Ireland in the late 1840s), the Keon family emigrated to Canada in the early 1830s. Most settled in the township of Bristol, located about 40 miles west of Ottawa in today's Quebec province. Isabella settled 25 miles further west in Admaston township, in today's Ontario. (Mary and family later relocated to California.)
