Saint John's Church of Ireland church is located in the civil parish of Coolbanagher, Co. Laois.
The church was constructed in 1786 and it is a good example of the neo-classical style.
It was designed by James Gandon, a well known architect at the time.
A large scale renovation took place in the 1870's. This was designed by Thomas Drew.
