The Ballyengand Lower Thatched Stables are located in the civil parish of Askeaton in Co. Limerick.
It was built around the year 1810.
A lean to was added a later date. The roof of the lean to is made of corrugated iron.
The thatched roof of the stables is maintained to an excellent standard.
The building is still in use as a stables today.
