Sarah Cunningham was born in Magoury townland near to Drangan village in Co Tipperary. She worked on a big estate in Co Waterford called Curraghmore.
At the age of 29 yrs she returned to her home and married Laurence Doran, a farmer from a neighbouring townland of Corbally.
She had six children and raised them to adulthood. She is buried with other family members in the cemetery of Drangan.
