James O'Brien : Short Biography

Hello, I am trying to track ancestors from Co Tipperary. 

I found a marriage record a while ago somewhere under Templemore (Co Tipperary) for James Obrien of Thurles and Mary Maher of Clonmore on 11 Feb 1828, both Roman Catholic, and witnesses Rev Heffernan and Ellen Maher. There were no parental records. They would be my 3 x great grandparents.

I am from their daughter Bridget O'Brien born about 1835 and came to Sydney Australia in 1855 on the Rajasthan along with her sister Margaret. Their older sister Ellen arrive in 1851 aged 22 from Ballywilliam near Castletown, Tipperary. 

Bridget at marriage listed her parents as J O'Brien and Mary Maher from Ballywilliam. On the christening record for Bridget it has her parents as James Brian and Mary Meagher, with a Margt Meagher also named.

I was advised that when Margaret was born on Feb 19, 1837 her father James was 31 and her mother Mary was 27. I believe they died in 1853-4 which was why Bridget and Margaret then came to Sydney to join their older sister.

I am getting DNA matches which look to be from the Tipperary/Limerick area but with some matches haven't been able to work out how.

I have had no success tracking James or Mary on Find My Past or Family Search to try and find their parents and if they had other children than the ones I have named. 

I am looking for suggestions of good records which might be searched for such information.
