Have attended Mass over my years of visiting Johnstown and the parsh is very well kept and had a very fine priest whom I believe has retired.
The Church of St Kieran and St Michael is located in the civil parish of Fertagh, County Kilkenny.
The church was built in 1831 on a cruciform plan.
It is affiliated with the Roman Catholic faith.
It is possible that the church was almost completely reconsctucted in the 20th century.
The church has been maintained to a high standard.
