Thomas was transported to Tasmania Australia on the "Rodney 3" in Feb 1853. He was convicted in Waterford in 1850 for killing Sheep and was transported for 7 years. His convict records state he was 27 was RC and was living with his father Thomas, brothers Michael, James ,John and Owen and sisters Catherine and Mary in Waterford at the time of his conviction. He married Mary Touhy/Tuohy/ Toohey who was ? from Tipperary at Port Cygnet Tasmania in 1858. He died in 1892.
