Patrick is my great grandfather. Born in Ireland around 1835 (my father said "from the North" which I think meant Northern Ireland. Ancestry gives a clue to his father as Martin. I think Patrick married Ellen O'Leary, but I know nothing about her. Patrick migrated to New York, New York. His son, Joseph Francis McMahon 1868-1937, married Elizebeth Courtney (1871-1930 from County Cork. They lived at 307 Autumn Avenue, Brooklyn, NY (Kings County) and had 8 children. My father', the youngest born in 1909: Vincent Paul McMahon Thanks for any information regarding where Patrick might have come from. The family was Catholic.
