Anne Callaghan of Co. Sligo married Matthew Barrett of Ballinvilla on 5 Nov 1883. By then he had a farm in Carrickmore, Boyle.

In 1942, she died at age 74 with her son John J Barrett of Carrickmore present at death. She was interred in the Boyle Barret plot at Killappoge Graveyard, Croghan.
