John KENNEDY was land agent for the Palliser Family of Annestown. He was the son of James Kennedy and Mary Hearn. He had a farm in the townland Woodstown east of Annes Stream.
He married 1867 Sarah Norwood from Coolagadden, Kilmeaden, Co. Waterford who died at childbirth. One daughter: Sarah Kennedy, born 1867.
He married 1869 Anne Hughes from Ballybeg, Littleton, Co. Tipperary. The couple had 13 children. Five children died early, all in the same year 1889. Three reached adulthood but died early. Two sons and two daughters married, one daughter stayed single.
Anne Kennedy stayed after death of her husband 1904 on the farm in the townland Woodstown, Annestown with her son John Kennedy who was 23 years old. About 1915 when she was 67 yrs old Anne Kennedy sold? the farm and moved to Cove House, Newtown, Tramore where she died 1920.
