I have DNA matches with descendants of Ellen, Michael, Cornelius, Daniel, and Mary E. And we are also connected with descendants of Denis, John or William... and their son or grandson named Patrick Regan who "did the dirty deed" in Indiana around 1918 and brought some more impressive cousins into our Regan clan.

Correction: It was John Regan who did the deed... not Patrick... and it wasn't referred to as the "dirty deed"... sorry... getting my words confused with the ACDC song!
I wonder if we are related. My grandfather is Denis Regan from Bandon, born in the early 1900s. He had a few brothers, one who moved to the US.
My great granndfather is Charlea Regan from Bandon born circa 1876

Do you have a family tree I can view on any of the ancestry sites? Have you taken a DNA test? and where do you live or where are you from?
My most accurate tree is on ancestry.com and is public. My DNA is on many sites including Ancestry.com and My Heritage and my son and aunt are on 23 and me.
Do you know who Charlea's father was? I have Demetri Regan as my Cornelius's father but I really don't have any documentation for it. I thought it was Demetri (1) because I thought Demetri was Latin for Denis (Cornelius's first born male) but now I understand that Demetri really means Jeremiah and (2) because Demetri baptized a son, Cornelius in Bandon.
I know I have Regan's with common DNA matches to at least one of Cornelius Regan and Hanora Leary's descendants (Denis 1825, John 1836, William 1839, or Catherine 1844) who immigrated to Massachusetts, USA but I don't know which one. Another one of these (Denis 1825, John 1836 or William 1839) Regan at least traveled through Indiana USA but again, I don't know who.
Any info you can share is greatly appreciated.
