I have been researching my family Keane/McNamara and have come across your Susannah and Thomas and there 8 children but have not found anything out about her parents. If I discover anything I will post it on here.

Migrated to/Born in Australia
Susannah married my 2nd great-granduncle, Thomas POWELL, born 1812 in the townland of Affick, Tulla parish, County Clare. She migrated with him to Australia in November 1839 aboard the William Metcalfe.
I'm researching Susannah's parents and, if possible, her earlier ancestors.
Susannah (McNamara) Powell was born about 1818 in County Clare, Ireland where she married about 1836. Susannah died in Geelong, Victoria, in 1856 - her death certificate does not reveal the names of her parents.
The Tithe Applotment Book for 1826 for the townland of Affogh (now, Affick), Tulla Parish, County Clare, includes the names John McNamara and Michael McNamara. Given that Susannah McNAMARA married Thomas POWELL of Affick townland, I wonder whether these Affick McNamara's were related to Susannah?
Is any other McNamara researcher able to help me please?
