Peter Boyle is my great grandfather. His family emigrated to Coatbridge, nr Glasgow in Scotland when he was a child. He went on to be a well known footballer, see Wikipaedia profile below, gaining several caps for Ireland. He served at Gallipoli during the first world and suffered from PTSD for the rest of his life.
