Ann Timoney is the maternal aunt of my great-great-grandmother, Ann McGillen. She immigrated to the US in the early 1830s. She married James Carney in Boston 22 May 1836. They moved on to Chicago not long after. I believe the Timoney's were from around Garrison, as her brothers John and Patrick Timoney also immigrated to the US. Patrick worked as a brewer in Chicago.
