Hello,
My anestor was Edward Hynes born in Killesher, Fermanagh and move to Canada. He was granted land in Cranbourne, Quebec, Canada circa 1826.
He was in the 1st Foot Soldiers 1st Battlion (1813-1815). Attestion 1811, August 12 in Enniskilen.
He married Margaret Saunderson from Antrim and had 5 children before moving in Canada.
Children: Mary, James, Edward, Elizabeth and Patrick all born in Ireland. Others were born in Cranbourne, Qc, Canada.
My great great grandfather was born in 1833 in Cranbourne, Quebec, Canada.
I need help for more informations such as were he was married and lived in Ireland.
