Catherine Somerville Branagan was married to James Branigan and lived near Clonbur, in Cappaghnagapple (Petersburgh). He was a tailor and may heave been a Master Tailor. He is buried in Rosshill Cemetery. He is the only Branagan buried in the cemetery. Catherine Somerville died on 12/25/1912 in Ballymenough. Her daughter Mary reported her death on June 5th, 1913 in the District of Clonbur. Catherine and James had 5 daughters (Mary, Bridget, Catherine, Margaret, and Ann) all of whom immigrated to the US in the late 1880's. Catherine was living in the 1911 census with her daughter Mary.
